My husband read the second blog before this one and had a correction for me to make:
It's not "Guitar Tuner", it's "Guitar Technician"
Very important.
I just got another update on how my dad is doing since the surgery over a week ago. He's not eating, which is understandable, but he's losing too much weight... 7 pounds last week. When I saw him on Saturday, he told me how he hadn't been this weight since before college. I know that, under any other circumstances, it would've been something to boast about.
My boss offered to bring in the Ensure protein drinks he'd bought for his wife. He said with a smile, "She just hadn't gotten to them yet and we won't be needing them now." We all smiled, but it was a really strange moment since she'd passed away exactly 15 days ago.
